Ibiza
-Ibiza-
…is the third largest of the Balearic Islands.
I have travelled many times to Ibiza, to this wonderful island. Personally, this island is definetly one of my favorite places.

Ibiza is a rock island. The coast mostly has these high cliffs with its characteristic conifer trees.

Beautiful beaches and bays
West – Ibiza: Cala Salada Beach

Cala Salada Beach is a small bay with beautiful blue colored water. Normally, the beach is not too crowded. If you want to calm down and enjoy a bay with a small sandy beach, then you are right. But Attention: You have to climb over some rocks. (on the right sight of the picture) It is not difficult to reach the beach, but I have hurted my head twice…

West – Ibiza: San Antonio Beaches

In and around San Antonio are different types of beaches. In the center of San Antonio there is a long sand beach. The sea is flat and the ground is sandy, too. You have a wide offer of water ski and other activities. Unfortunately, the beach around the center is stony and not really pretty (as you can see in the picture above).

South – Ibiza: Las Salinas
The most popular beach in the south is Las Salinas. (span.: Ses Salinas) The long white sanded beach has enough place for many people. It might be said that there are too many people during summer time…For those of you, who want to to enjoy silence, better go West to Cala Salada Beach.
