In 2015 we travelled to Egypt for a few days to relax.
Although it was a pity not to go out, we took part in a snorkeling tour for one day, which was an amazing experience!
After barely thirty minutes the first dolphines crossed our way. We left the boat immediately and swam alongside these peaceful animals. They only kept a small distance, which was an incredible feeling. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me to film our day with the dolphins. It was such a memorable moment.
In our opinion, Egypt is a very interesting country and especially good for small budget journeys. The hotels around the touristic hotspots meet all comfort requirements and all have beautiful gardens. In general, they are in a good condition and have friendly staff. BUT: I have talked to many people who had problems with the food, including me. If you are searching for a hotel in Egypt, I would recommend to always check the hotel reviews.
